We provide the facility of dialysis. Dialysis is used as a temporary measure in either acute kidney injury or in those awaiting kidney transplant and as a permanent measure in those for whom a transplant is not indicated or not possible. Patients travel to the unit to use one of the dialysis machines 3 to 4 times per week. A treatment lasts 3-4 hours per patient, allowing each machine to treat 2-3 patients per day.  The waste products are removed from the blood and caught up in the fine membrane.
