QEC Conducts SAR Completion and Data Submission Session for MBBS & BDS Program Team Members
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Abbottabad International Medical Institute (AIMI) organized a SAR Completion and Data Submission Session for the Program Team Members of the MBBS and BDS programs on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Main Conference Hall, AIMI.
The session was conducted to facilitate the completion of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) process and to guide academic departments regarding the submission of the required data and documentary evidence.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Arshid Pervez, Director Quality Enhancement Cell, welcomed the Program Team Members and explained the objectives and significance of the session. He highlighted the importance of the Self-Assessment Report as a key quality assurance mechanism for continuous academic improvement and institutional excellence. He urged all Program Team Members to extend their full cooperation with the QEC by ensuring the timely and accurate submission of departmental data and supporting evidence in accordance with the prescribed timelines.
During the technical session, Mr. Amjad Khan, Assistant Manager QEC, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the eight criteria and standards of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR). He explained each criterion in detail and guided the participants regarding the specific information, documentary evidence, and records required from the respective academic departments. The presentation also clarified departmental responsibilities and the process for compiling evidence to ensure a systematic and efficient SAR preparation.
Following the session, the department-wise data submission templates, detailed guidelines, and submission requirements were shared with the Program Team Members to facilitate standardized and timely submission of the required information and supporting documents.
The session concluded with a question-and-answer discussion, reaffirming the institution's commitment to strengthening quality assurance practices and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement across both MBBS and BDS programs.
